T4P launched with a Leeds-wide festival in autumn 2003, followed by another 2 years later... and we've had our hands full ever since!

Since 2006, we and our partners have developed a wide range of ongoing projects across the city, and beyond. They've included... Community dialogue programmes. Youth and schools projects. Social forums. The arts and film. Food and sport.

Headliner projects we've been involved in include: the In One City cross-community films, the Planet Leeds street festivals (2007 & 2009), the international Peace Jam youth initiative (since 2006), the Leeds-London WALKTALK project in 2008, the annual Leeds Peace Poetry Competition (5000+ entries since 2003), and the EAT FOR PEACE neighbouhood meals. More info on our ongoing projects here.

We still host festivals... kind of! In November 2009, we and a wide range of partners coordinated the first ever Leeds Summat, the climax of a three month long season of events. The Summat itself was a one-day, festival-styled event which drew together 700+ people from across Leeds and the region to connect, talk, learn and laugh together.
